The Beaconsfield Figure Skating Club's mandate is to enable children to participate in skating for fun, fitness and achievement. We offer learn-to-skate lessons (CanSkate), recreational figure-skating group lessons (Pre-junior), advanced figure-skating group lessons (StarSkate Group), as well as ice time where skaters can hone their skills with private lessons (StarSkate). Le mandat du club de patinage artistique de Beaconsfield est de permettre aux enfants de participer au patinage pour le plaisir, pour l’exercice physique et pour l’accomplissement. Nous offrons des cours pour apprendre à patiner (CanSkate), des cours en groupe de patinage artistique récréatif (Groupe Pré-junior), des cours avancés de patinage artistique (Groupe Junior), ainsi que des périodes sur la glace durant lesquelles les patineurs peuvent affiner leurs habilités en cours privés (StarSkate). Congratulations to Serena Potts who placed 10th overall in pre-novice ladies at the recent BMO Quebec Sectional Championships and to Alexandra Maduro for her 9th place finish at the StarSkate Provincial Championships. Best of the Best! Mary Liz Wiley was named as one of the Best of the Best Canskate coaches by Skate Canada. She attended the 2009 Skate Canada AGM in Edmonton as their guest where she helped deliver the Canskate Live! workshop. Congratulations to Andrea Leclair-Shefler who placed 10th in Novice ladies at the 2009 BMO Skate Canada Junior National Championships in Calgary. Don't miss out!
